The coming months are certain to be intense as we march toward the May Primary. With presidential, mayoral and a number of important issues before us, the lower profile campaign for County Commissioner could be overlooked. Yet the role the County plays in each of our lives is tremendous. From public health and safety, to roads and open spaces, the County Commissioners have a lot to do with our community's quality of life over the coming years and decades.

Over the past thirteen years as County Commissioner, I’ve placed more than a hundred important votes, many of which have had direct impact on the lives of friends and family.

I pride myself on the role I have played with public safety, education and the economy. I’ve worked tirelessly with the various cities in the county, with the State of Oregon, and with the federal government and our elected officials. Collaboration and cooperation have become the critical components to our success on a great number of levels.
